In the late 90’s Debbi and her family relocated from New York to Texas. A life-long sewing and crafting enthusiast, Debbi began quilting in 2011 and won her first ribbon in 2013.
In 2014 Debbi began planning, organizing and hosting tours the world over, with her company, Celtic Quilt Tours. Since then, Debbi planned and hosted travelers from around the world to Ireland, Scotland, UK, Wales, Canada, France, Iceland, Japan, etc. In 2022 the decision was made to disolve Celtic Quilt Tours.
In late 2022 Debbi founded Celtic Quilt Journeys, with a new team of Tour Hosts, to travel to new and favorite destinations around the world.

Paula has been sewing since she was a small child. Paula’s mom taught her to sew when she was a small child and wanted to make clothes for her Sindy Doll.
Paula studied Fashion Design at Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD). After graduation Paula began running her own business, specializing in stretch and sequined fabric.
Several years passed and Paula decided to return to college and train as an Art teacher. After getting her second degree, Paula began working with retirement groups, which taught her the value of lifelong learning. By accident she started working in Limerick Prison the late 90’s and have been teaching full time since.
Paula regularly exhibits her student’s work at shows throughout Ireland and Europe.  After their release, Paul continues to help them continue their studies.

Patience Griffin
Texas, USA
patience@patiencegriffin.com

Award-winning author Patience Griffin has been writing and sewing her whole life but didn’t discover her love of quilting until her late thirties. She decided the best way to acquire her first quilt was to make one for herself. At nearly the same time, she started commuting three and half hours a day for her dream engineering job. To pass the time on the long drive, she got hooked on audiobooks—especially books with love stories.
Within a couple of years, she was writing stories of her own. It was no surprise to her family and friends when she combined her love of quilting, her small town roots, and her obsession with Scottish romances into novels. She has gained some recognition with her September 11th Story Quilt which has toured the country as the property of the Pentagon.
Patience’s first book, To Scotland with Love, received a Publishers Weekly *starred reviewed, won the New England Readers’ Choice award and Golden Quill for best first book and was also a double RITA® finalist. She loves to write about home, heart, and the community of quilters. She has teamed up with QT Fabrics for an extensive line of fabrics to accompany her novels.
